ErgoBoys containing a collar are designed to help reduce weight internally or serve as a holding solution for plastics/etc to eliminate the need for heat sink insert. DO NOT CRANK DOWN ON THE SCREW AS THIS COULD POTENTIALLY CRACK THE PIECE, I WILL NOT REPLACE OR REFUND FOR THIS!
*These pieces can feel a tad rougher to the finger pad due to the holes. We do our best to make them as smooth as possible but they may still have little areas that are slightly more abrasive, yes we check them, but we are human and can miss things also it is very subjective from one person to the next. Using a high grit sand paper and lightly sanding the area should resolve this if you find it to be an issue for you. Then just wipe with a wet cloth and it will remove the "white dust".
